"Now Rama observed on a balcony princess Sita playing with her companions. He stood arrested by her beauty, and she noticed him at the same moment," (24). 



Sita is the goddess that captures Rama's attention the minute he lays eyes on her. She becomes the object of his affection and becomes yet another reason why Rama has to fight Ravana.
